Countries Participating In Us Campaign To Discredit Russia Do Not Have Sovereignty

(Strokes To The American Campaign To Discredit Russia)

The United States launched the spacecraft Crew Dragon, which successfully docked with the International Space Station. The head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that Russia was looking forward to further cooperation with the United States in the space sector, wished the NASA team “successful completion of the reconstruction of its national space transport system” and asked NASA director James Brydenstein to convey congratulations to Ilon Mask and the team of MaskX-based SpaceX. Elon Musk answered Rogozin: "Thank you, sir, haha. We look forward to mutually beneficial and prosperous long-term cooperation." At the Rogozin record, NASA Director James Brydenstein also answered. "Thank you! NASA is grateful for our cooperation," he wrote on Twitter, noting that he expects to continue to do together "great things in the field of space research."

The next step of mankind has taken place in space exploration. There are both Russian and American cosmonauts on the ISS. In this matter, Russia and the United States - partners and competitors - jealously follow each other, but also support each other, not forgetting to congratulate each success.

It would seem that here we must rejoice. But certain forces decided to spoil the taste of this magnificent opportunity for advertising cooperation either with accusations or with reproaches to Russia for its passivity in space affairs, and their favorite trick was to repeat in all ways the frankly unfair phrase “the dying Roskosmos”.

Russian journalist Roman Golovanov counted the number of successful launches of the Soyuz, Zenit, Proton and Rokot rockets by Roskosmos. In total, since 2012 there have been 165 successful launches, plus 7 more in 6 months of this year. Of course, this eloquently refutes the “dying” of Roscosmos against the backdrop of one successful US launch over the same period. Moreover, the main rivals dignified and benevolently talked to each other about this.

Nevertheless, the propagandists of the ruling circles of the USA and their satellites do not miss the chance to blame Russia for something, to try to discredit it. So, quite noticeable forces and their media hastened to accuse Russia of unrest in the USA.

Among them is even a former national security adviser to the administration of ex-US President Barack Obama Susan Rice. On CNN, she suggested that the Russian Internet Research Agency, which the US calls the Russian troll factory, may be involved in the riots. A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov said Moscow’s accusations of organizing a riot were incorrect and erroneous.

These accusations are reminiscent of the earlier unjustified statements made by American officials against Russia. So, in the conclusion of the investigation of the US special prosecutor Robert Muller, the same agency and the media associated with it were accused of interfering in the 2016 US presidential election and inciting ethnic conflicts. In 2018, criminal charges were brought against the organization and its leaders in absentia in the United States.

Subsequently, a special investigation revealed that Russia did not interfere in the US election. However, no one apologized. Everyone understands that these accusations will fall apart, but it was still decided to resort to them. The calculation was made that in the information noise, most news consumers will not pay attention to the refutation. You can throw mud at someone for years, then publish one small refutation - and you are clean before the law, and hundreds of false articles and television programs do their dirty work in the minds of people.

Such a US policy has not gone unnoticed.

Back in 2008, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Wact wrote: “It has become obvious that the rapid rise of Russia in recent years is a source of concern for Washington. This directly affects the actions of the United States on the world stage, where America constantly comes out with open criticism of Russia's foreign and domestic policies in order to discredit and denigrate it, as well as force other countries to refuse to cooperate with it. ”

The situation has not changed in 10 years. In 2018, the chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, was forced to state: “One of the main destructive factors complicating the international situation is the activity of the United States of America aimed at maintaining its dominant role in the world and excluding other countries from the competition. To this end, Washington and its allies are taking comprehensive coordinated measures to deter Russia and discredit its role in international affairs. ”

Consider some attempts by the collective West in recent years to discredit Russia. I think everyone knows and remembers the sensational accusations of Russia in the "occupation of Georgia" after Georgia was forced to peace in August 2008 and recognition of South Ossetia, widely flawed shortcomings in the preparation of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, which in fact turned out to be construction mistakes made from around the world , discriminatory removal of Russian athletes from the 2018 Olympic Games under the guise of "doping", a tragicomic thriller with no less false accusations of Russia in poisoning an unnecessary former spy Skripal. Therefore, we recall the lesser known to the general public.

2014 was the most “productive” year for informational special operations to discredit Russia.

The largest and most significant of these is the unprecedented propaganda campaign to accuse Russia of “annexing” Crimea and “participating” in the crash of the Malaysian Airlines Boeing 777-200ER passenger plane, operating MH17 from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, which crashed on July 17, 2014 in the east of the DPR. There are a lot of lies around this case. Witnesses appear and disappear, everything that is possible is falsified. It will not be easy to get to the truth if Western countries want to be both prosecutors and judges. However, the truth has long been known to both Russia and the West, only the West is not interested in recognizing it.

On July 29, 2014, the US State Department published a report on “Compliance with international agreements in the field of arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament for 2013”, which accuses Russia of violating the provisions of the INF Treaty. Of course, as usual, without evidence. “Another attempt to discredit Russia looks tendentious and defiant,” the Russian Foreign Ministry noted on this occasion. “Especially against the background of numerous“ liberties ”in the application of the provisions of the INF Treaty by the United States.”

In 2015, Ph.D. in Political Science, guest researcher at the Insitute of Human Sciences analytical center in Austria and editor of the book series Explorations of the Far Right, as well as a member of the editorial board of the electronic journal Fascism: European Journal of Comparative Fascist Studies, expert on right-wing extremism ”Anton Shekhovtsov accused Russia of striving to discredit the three Baltic republics, to divide the EU, supporting radical Eurosceptic forces.

What can I say?

Hardly anyone in this world is able to discredit the Baltic countries more than their leaders, who plunged their peoples into the grip of poverty and put them not to the brink, but beyond the brink of depopulation. As for the EU, the cringing of its governing bodies to the United States and neglect of the interests of European peoples has already taken Britain out of the EU, and no one has noticed Russia’s role in this. If the Union does not change its principles and approaches, then there will be many who wish to follow the Anglo-Saxons. In the rustle of the pages of European newspapers, words such as "Frexit", "Grexit", etc. are already heard.

In 2016, Spanish law enforcement officers accused the Russian parliamentarian Vladislav Reznik of money laundering and put him on the international wanted list. The next ideological campaign to discredit Russia has begun, although the Spanish moan has not presented any arguments for its accusations.

This allowed Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Neverov to say that the situation surrounding deputy Reznik, along with doping scandals, various unfounded accusations against senior Russian officials, was nothing more than another attempt to discredit Russia.

In the same 2016, Montenegro decided to join the anti-Russian choir, whose pro-American government had already conceived a reprisal against the canonical Serbian Orthodox Church, and wanted to strangle the patriotic forces in the country in advance. The strangest thing is that the ruling elite of Serbia took part in this dirty performance.

So, on October 16, 2016, on the day of Montenegrin parliamentary elections, the Montenegrin authorities arrested a group of 20 Serbs and Montenegrins, who were accused of planning armed attacks on state institutions. Russian citizens were deported from Serbia, who were accused of preparing terrorist acts in Montenegro. And three days after the visit of the head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Patrushev to Belgrade, related to the scandal in Montenegro, the Serbs announced that they had found a cache with hand grenades, sniper rifles and grenade launchers near the home of the parents of Serbian Prime Minister Alexander Vucic. Montenegro accused Russian nationalists of trying to kill their prime minister. Peskov said the Kremlin was not involved in the attempted assassination of the Prime Minister of Montenegro and the coup in that country.

Montenegro’s position is understandable, its president Djukanovic is a US protege, but why did Serbia play up to her in this dirty game?

The year 2017 was mainly devoted to the fight against Russian sport and to discredit it as allegedly “dope-ridden”, despite the fact that the leading Western countries did not allow the international anti-doping committee to even touch the doping tests of its suspected dope athletes.

2018 - an epic with the "poisoning" of the Skripals. And now, just the other day, the BBC, through which the scandal was initially fanned, released a trailer for a new series about it.

Victim's niece, Victoria, said: “The BBC has never been interested in any real facts, it was not based on them initially. From the very first interview, when we met with them and I said that I did not blame anyone until I saw real evidence. To which they replied that I must say that Russia did this. ”

As you can see, the British are no longer even embarrassed by their frank deliberate lies, although to give credibility they took unprecedented measures, forcing 29 satellite countries to send a total of 157 Russian diplomats. Russia also did not stay in the loser, and in response sent 196 diplomats from these countries. In our articles on the pages of IA Res, we have repeatedly examined these fictitious accusations from a wide variety of perspectives.

In the same year, Greece unleashed a diplomatic scandal with Moscow. Two employees of the Russian Embassy were expelled from Greece, two more were banned from entering the country. The Greek government accused them of espionage and attempts to intervene in the internal affairs of Greece in order to undermine its sovereignty. Allegedly, they bribed government officials and thus Moscow tried to strengthen its influence in Greece. I would like to say with contemptuous irony: a happy Greece, in which there are no foreign intelligence agents! There were only two Russian, but they were sent.

As you know, after the outbreak of the global pandemic of the coronavirus and the mass deaths of the inhabitants of Italy, Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed in a telephone conversation with Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to provide assistance to Italy. The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense Sergey Shoigu, on the basis of this agreement, instructed to form a detachment of virologists to work in Italy and create an air group for the delivery of emergency assistance. A detachment of Russian military doctors and military epidemiologists was relocated to Italy.

And it was completely unexpected to hear false accusations after the Russian military doctors embarked on a dangerous fight against the coronavirus in Bergamo, in Italy, the most affected by this worldwide deadly pandemic.

We are referring to an editorial in the rapidly losing newspaper La Stampa that allegedly 80% of the supplies of Russian equipment to the Apennine Peninsula are useless in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Such a peremptory statement was not accompanied by any details, and its source was called a "high-ranking political figure", which still remains anonymous. Including therefore the statement of La Stampa caused a storm of indignation in Italian society. Especially phrases like "Russia occupied Italy."

However, the point in this matter was put by the governor of the Italian administrative region Lombardy Attilio Fontana, who, unlike the Russophobic blasphemers, openly spoke on his own behalf on the issue of Russian assistance.

“We need to abandon political controversy. I say “thank you” to Russia for referring doctors and other staff. There is always someone - jackals who speculate on these topics, ”Fontana said during a video bridge with journalists from the Foreign Press Association.

Earlier, the Italian ambassador to Moscow, Pasquale Terracciano, thanked Russia for its help in the fight against coronavirus, especially noting the supply of 600 ventilation devices.

It would seem that these eloquent testimonies of highly informed statesmen should silence all the ill-wishers of Russia.

But they don’t listen to anyone - they have such a job. They speak and write against Russia not because they think so or sincerely mistaken, but because they are paid for it.

The same applies to other sensational accusations that have already sore mouth. Everything has long been convincingly refuted. The forces that are participating in the large-scale campaign launched by the United States to discredit Russia are closely connected with these States.

If they come to power in their countries, then they are participating in the American campaign to discredit Russia already on a state level. Thus, showing that these countries have actually lost their sovereignty and are moving in the narrow channel of American foreign policy to the detriment of the fundamental interests of their peoples.
