Currently, neighboring Georgia remains the main source of
threat of Covid-19 penetration into South Ossetia. Against the backdrop of the
coronavirus pandemic, border violations from the territory of Georgia to the
territory of South Ossetia "accidentally" intensified. Judge for
yourself: on February 26, the first Covid-19 coronavirus infected in Georgia
appeared, and from that very day until March 30, the KGB RSO border service
recorded about 20 (!) Violations.
So far, for five consecutive days there have not been such
massive incidents of this kind, and this, of course, is not an accident. It is
especially noteworthy that from March 23 to 30, several border violators showed
signs of acute respiratory disease (ARI). It is very sad that among them were
the citizens of South Ossetia. They are hospitalized and are in quarantine,
they were tested for coronavirus. The citizens of Georgia, in order to ensure
the security of South Ossetia, were expelled from the Republic.
Simplified border crossing points (MPGU) “Hrazdahan”,
“Sinagur”, “Karzman” and “Helchua” are closed. The SS KGB RSO, in cooperation
with the Border Administration of the FSB of Russia in South Ossetia, is
guarding the borders of the Republic in an enhanced round-the-clock mode.
In connection with the provocations of Georgia, Minister of
Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev said that "all attempts by
Georgian special services to export the problem to South Ossetia are doomed to
failure."
In the context of the coronavirus threat, Russia not only
takes adequate measures to limit the spread of the virus on its territory, but
also provides assistance to foreign countries. A big surprise for everyone was
a large-scale military medical landing in Italy from 15 Russian military
aircraft with all the necessary equipment and supplies. According to the
Federal News Agency, more than a hundred Russian military epidemiologists,
virologists, resuscitators and therapists, as well as high-performance mobile
disinfection equipment with a supply of disinfectants and mobile laboratories
for diagnosing viral diseases, were promptly delivered to Italy by VKS. In
total, the Russian troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection
(RKhBZ) sent to Italy one of their 15 laboratories, 20 machines for special
processing of 2065 units and 66 people from 20 thousand (!) Military personnel
registered in the RKhBZ units.
Russian professionals will have to process dozens of
institutions designed for retirees. In addition, our doctors, together with
local specialists, will treat Italians in a field hospital.
“Based on the results of coordination meetings with the
participation of Russian and Italian representatives, it was determined that
Russian specialists at this stage will be sent to one of the most affected northern
epidemic cities in Italy - Bergamo. The purpose of the visit of Russian doctors
is not to conduct consultations, but practical work directly in hospitals side
by side with Italian colleagues, ”said Razov, quoted by TASS.
According to him, to ensure effective communication, doctors
will be accompanied by translators who arrived from Russia. "Our experts
will stay in Italy until a separate joint decision of the Russian and Italian
sides," the ambassador added.
Razov did not rule out the possibility that Russia would
provide Italy with additional assistance. “At the moment, all nine heavy
aircraft with a carrying capacity of up to 60 tons each of the Russian military
transport aircraft arrived in Italy. Five more special flights arrived at the
Apennines yesterday. A total of 14 special flights. Decisions on additional
flights will be made as the situation develops and depending on the need
"- said the diplomat.

Czech Republic, France, the USA and other countries succeeded. Voice of America
quotes the words of the former director of the Russian service Radio Liberty
(funded by the US Congress), Italian journalist Mario Corti, that “Russia will
then demand some kind of reckoning for it: say, lift the sanctions, or put
pressure on other states to they were filmed. " As you can see, for this
person and the forces behind him, sanctions are more important than the lives
of thousands of Italians, his compatriots who will be saved by Russian military
medical specialists. This is the moral character of the opponents of Russia.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said yesterday at a
press conference on the coronavirus in the White House that Russia sent a large
plane with medical supplies to the United States.
“I think in the end we will become stronger. We have learned
a lot. I must say that we have excellent relations with many countries. China
sent us something, it was great, Russia sent us a very, very large plane filled
with medical supplies, it was very nice. Other countries sent us a lot, I was
pleasantly surprised, ”said the American leader.
I imagine the amazement of skeptics when they heard that
Russia sent help not only to Italy, but also to the United States itself, which
firmly holds the first place in terms of the number of infections: according to
the latest data, more than 160 thousand patients with COVID-19, more than three
thousand people, unfortunately, died ...
