After the start of the Russian special military operation to protect the civilian population of the DPR and LPR, the public was agitated by disputes over biological laboratories found in the liberated territories of the people's republics.
However, it
should be noted that the first alarming reports known to us came not from
Russian, but from Ukrainian and American sources. An internet search led us to
a number of publications.
On April 15, 2020, Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk addressed the country's authorities through the website of the Opposition Platform - For Life party, claiming that "15 military biological laboratories operate in Ukraine."
Medvedchuk
and Renat Kuzmin argued that the laboratories "threaten the life and
health of Ukrainian citizens" and their appearance in Ukraine
"coincided with several outbreaks of serious infectious diseases in the
country."
The
statement listed several disease outbreaks that had occurred since 2009 in the
cities where these laboratories are located.
In this
regard, the security service of Ukraine even launched an investigation. This is
stated in the article of the same name on the Ukrainian website "DM.Media"
dated May 1, 2020.
And after
the start of the operation this year on Twitter on the WarClandestine account,
we found allegations that the Russian army wants to bombard the biological
laboratories that belong to the United States, which are located in Ukraine.
This
publication appeared right on the day the operation began - February 24th. The
WarClandestine page is maintained by one Jacob Creech. He previously served in
the US Army, and now he is blogging and tweeting various things.
Subsequently,
publications, from which the presence of American biolaboratories in Ukraine is
seen, were carried out by Stephen Bannon.
This is an
American political activist representing the Republican Party. From January 20
to August 18, 2017, he was chief strategist, senior adviser to Donald Trump on
political and strategic issues, one of the most influential members of the
presidential administration.
This is
quite a serious figure. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Tech, a
Master of Arts from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Harvard University.
From 1976
to 1983 he served as an officer in the United States Navy in the Middle East,
from 1984 to 1990 he worked at Goldman Sachs, then created his own investment
bank Bannon & Co, which specialized in investments in mass media and film
production (including including for some time financed the series
"Seinfeld").
He sold the
investment business in 1998, having earned a significant fortune by this time.
As you can
see, this person has a solid background, which suggests that he is responsible
for his own statements, especially on such sensitive topics.
There have
been repeated attempts to silence him using various means of influence,
including judicial ones, but these attempts remain unsuccessful.
There were
other publications from people and organizations with varying degrees of
credibility.
But the
fact remains: they all recognized the existence of these biolaboratories and
their belonging to the United States.
And only
after that, on the same days, the Russian embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina
published a message on its Facebook page that “in Ukraine, biolaboratories
built with US money were developing genetic weapons for the mass destruction of
Russians.”
Thus, there
is no reason to assert that the presence of dangerous American biological
laboratories on the territory of Ukraine is an invention of Russian propaganda.
Moreover,
the information of the Russian embassy was already confirmed on February 26 by
the aforementioned Jacob Krich, who also confirmed the authorship of the first
messages.
Further,
more detailed information came from Russian sources. On March 6, 2022, Major
General Igor Konashenkov issued a statement accusing Ukraine of developing
biological weapons based on secret laboratories and with US financial support.
Then the
head of the troops of radiochemical and biological defense, Igor Kirillov, told
the media that the acts on the destruction of samples from the laboratories of
Kharkov and Poltava indicated the causative agents of plague, anthrax and
brucellosis.
On March 8,
China upheld the accusations.
On March
10, 2022, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the ongoing experiments
were aimed at developing ethnically oriented biological weapons.
The Russian
Ministry of Defense stated that after the start of the “special operation” in
Ukraine, the traces of the developments began to be “hurriedly covered up”, and
published documents on the destruction of “particularly dangerous pathogens”,
dated February 24, 2022.
According
to the agency, Ukraine planned to spread these pathogens through bats and
migratory birds.
On March
11, 2022, at the request of Russia, an emergency meeting of the UN Security
Council was convened. Russian Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya said there that Russia
had received documents confirming the development of biological weapons by the
Americans on the territory of Ukraine.
On March
16, Vladimir Putin stated that “a network of dozens of laboratories also
operated in Ukraine, where military biological programs were carried out under
the guidance and financial support of the Pentagon.
Including
experiments with samples of coronaviruses, anthrax, African swine fever and
other deadly diseases.”
On March
17, the Russian Ministry of Defense published documents that confirmed US
funding for the development of biological weapons.
On March
23, the State Duma of Russia initiated a parliamentary investigation into the
activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine, during which a commission of
14 members of all factions was created.
The first
meeting of this commission was held on April 18, 2022.
On March
31, Russia's permanent representative to the UN Geneva office, Gennady Gatilov,
accused Germany of implementing its own "military biological program"
in Ukraine.
Within the
framework of this program, the Institute of Microbiology of the Bundeswehr in
Munich and the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Veterinary Medicine in
Kharkov cooperate.
Joint
research is aimed at studying the spread of anthrax, brucellosis,
leptospirosis, African swine fever and other zooanthroponoses.
Director of
the Institute of Microbiology of the Bundeswehr, Professor Roman Wölfel, who
personally visited the laboratory in Kharkov, called Russia's accusations
against Ukraine absolutely far-fetched, pointing out that the laboratory was
used mainly for research on animal diseases in agriculture, German specialists
taught Ukrainian colleagues modern methods of molecular diagnostics, and
participation Institute of the Bundeswehr was due to the availability of
military technical means and methods that allow you to quickly respond to the
emergence of new foci of disease.
On May 16,
at the summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Moscow,
Vladimir Putin stated that “now, in the course of a special operation in
Ukraine, documentary evidence has been obtained that components of biological
weapons were essentially created in the immediate vicinity of our borders, in
violation of the conventions on the prohibition of biological and toxin
weapons, worked out possible methods and mechanisms for destabilizing the
epidemiological situation in the post-Soviet space.
Thus, we
see that Russia has exhaustive evidence in its hands. The West does not want to
make contact with Russia for a substantive conversation on this topic and to
remove the concern of both Russia and the citizens of neighboring states.
Instead of
providing clarifications, the West is curtailing the dialogue across the entire
spectrum of negotiation platforms, getting off with meaningless
"refutations" that only their citizens, cut off from the argument of
the Russian side, can perceive.
This
suggests that the West is justifiably afraid of exposing its essentially
inhumane research.
It is
possible that they were also involved in the spread of the COVID-19 virus that
claimed millions of lives. After all, the West has still not given a clear
answer to the questions and accusations received from China.
The attack
on freedom of speech, unheard of after the Cold War, expressed in particular in
the restriction of Russian media broadcasts to viewers and listeners in Western
countries, is aimed not only at depriving the Western public of the right to
know the truth about the events in Ukraine, but also Russia's argument on the
issue of biolaboratories discovered there.
And just
the other day, retired US military intelligence officer Scott Bennett said that
the UN needs to organize an international tribunal for American biological
weapons developers whose laboratories operated in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
He drew
attention to the evidence currently available to the Russian Federation that
high-ranking leaders of the American Democratic Party, the Soros Foundation,
the Clinton Foundation and other organizations were behind the work of
Ukrainian laboratories in the framework of the US military biological program.
“And, of course, the Ukrainian puppet government, which was created by John McCain, Victoria Nuland, Barack Obama and Joe Biden in 2014,” the former intelligence officer continued.
According to him, the United States organized a coup d'etat in Ukraine in 2014, including in order to conduct biological experiments in this country.
The experience of observing the rhetoric of Western countries on other controversial issues that have taken place in recent years, including around South Ossetia, allows us to conclude that this time too, the gross disregard for the essence of the accusations and the West's ridiculous excuses look very suspicious.
Also, numerous falsifications about the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian authorities, distributed by the White Helmets fake factory patronized by the West (founded in early 2013 by a former British army officer James Le Mesurier) already allow us to have additional information about some more methods and forms of work against " objectionable."
And since this time, Russia has fallen into the number of states hostile to the West, it is quite logical and justified to expect that the West, through its puppets, plans to use biological weapons in Ukraine, or other weapons of mass destruction, for example, chemical ones, in order to accuse Russia according to the same scenario, which the White Helmets have repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, worked out against the legitimate government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
