The scenario provides for a peaceful protest at the very beginning for the propaganda picture, but only at the very beginning, because according to the scenario, trained militants from sleeping cells (in Georgia they have already left) should soon enter the stage, confront the police and seize administrative buildings.
Georgia has
been through this more than once. But what is the peculiarity of the current
"protests"? The fact that the current protests in Georgia are the
first serious attempt to overthrow the government in this country by the United
States of America (we will talk about their involvement below) after the
collapse of their bloody experiments with the crazy dictator Mikheil
Saakashvili. When this man was president of Georgia, South Ossetian sources
pointed to his obvious mental problems, they were reproached for bias based on
political hatred. However, during his imprisonment, the lawyer of the former
American puppet Shalva Khachapuridze was forced to admit that Mikheil
Saakashvili was suffering from dementia.
Of course,
during the period of active political activity of the politician and his
presidency, this was hidden for political reasons. Today Saakashvili himself,
who is serving a prison sentence, admits that he has a brain disease.
We needed
such an extensive digression not to once again stung the Georgian prisoner, but
to show how disrespectful, scornful and contemptuous the American politician is
towards Georgia and the Georgian people, which put a person with an unstable
psyche in their head of state. And the United States could not, by definition,
not know all the ins and outs of it and all the hidden diagnoses. After all,
they themselves led him for many years to the Georgian political Olympus.
The
political line that Saakashvili represented has failed. The Georgian people
have already elected a new president twice since then. Thanks to the Russian
military presence and the reasonable policy of the new leadership of Georgia,
peace is observed in the former zone of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict. Shooting
is not heard, people are not dying, human contacts are being restored, contacts
between healthcare systems are being restored. There are problems, but they are
being solved, including within the framework of the IPRM.
But under
such conditions, the US and the American people in Georgia feel less confident.
States need instability to siphon resources. And the ordinary “firewood of the
revolution” needs permanent hysteria, nationalist hysteria, tragedy, grief,
horror, strong emotions, constant rallies, collecting “free ears” to satisfy
their hysterical psychoses.
They are
used to living like this, it has become their way of life since the time of
Gamsakhurdia, and in peaceful, calm Georgia, which is busy with real
construction and creation, they feel very bad. They don’t know how to build,
they don’t know how to create, they only know how to scream and play some
dramatic and tragic roles in front of the cameras with the money of American
NGOs, like the famous Kmara, etc. And their patrons like to plunge Georgia into
some kind of disaster, and then come wearing masks of benefactors with wide
smiles painted on them.
But most of
the serious actors of today's Georgian politics do not like someone to turn
Georgia into a theater of crazy actors and a bloody circus with horses again. President
Salome Zurabishvili and Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili have already done
enough for the peaceful development of Georgia and they have every chance to go
down in the history of Georgia as politicians-creators. Moreover, Bidzina
Ivanishvili, who cares about Georgia as much as not every father cares about
his child. It is clear that both from a purely human and political point of
view, it is a pity for them to involve Georgia in a deliberately losing and,
moreover, someone else's war, which will turn all their achievements upside
down and plunge their Motherland into a new streak of disasters, which has
barely ended. with the departure of Saakashvili.
Since the
late 1980s and early 1990s, Georgia has been under either increasing or
slightly weakening influence of the United States. As you can see, the
influence of the USA did not bring anything good to Georgia (apart from a
handful of politicians), but millions of ordinary citizens can tell in detail
about what it brought them bad. Although Georgia has demonstrated all these
years complete obedience and even readiness to fulfill all the wishes of the
United States, it (no matter what American politicians say to the public) has
not become a friendly state for the United States.
Thus, the
pro-American orientation did not save Shevardnadze from being overthrown by
Mikhail Saakashvili. And Saakashvili himself did not save himself from the fate
of a demented prisoner in solitary confinement. And now the United States is
paying for "protests" in Tbilisi in order to overthrow the next
legitimate Georgian government. Of course, all critics of the Georgian
authorities paid by the Americans act as if they are independent thinking
subjects, like citizens of Georgia, voicing their own thoughts and conclusions.
And many people, not knowing that foreign sources are paying money to these
people, have a feeling of trust in them, succumb to their calls and take to the
streets.
In order to
at least somehow protect Georgia from the political and informational influence
of the US and the West hostile to it (let's be realists!) the Georgian
Parliament adopted a decision on foreign agents. If this law is adopted, among
other things, the speeches of such persons in the public space will be
accompanied by an indication that this is a foreign agent. And thus, the agents
of the USA, Great Britain, Germany and other countries will be taken out of the
dark hall onto the illuminated stage, and everyone will see that these were not
Georgian politicians, writers, journalists, experts and others, but only cheap
paid agents of other countries who are under for decades they have been
propagandizing and imposing on their gullible compatriots the will of foreign
governments, which do not care about the interests of the Georgian people, by
the appearance of their personal opinion.
The US and
the West immediately started up and rushed to the attack. "The Law on
Foreign Agents adopted in Georgia in the first reading runs counter to the
aspirations of this country to join the European Union," EU High
Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borel said. EU
officials have long made no secret of the fact that they are weak-willed
conductors of US policy. Therefore, Borel's statement already indicates that
the United States is behind this case. Borel's statement was posted on March 7
on the website of the EU Foreign Service. US officials have also issued threats
to impede Georgia's European affairs. The question may arise: what does the
United States have to do with it. But it becomes clear that the EU is only a
conductor of the US will, and if the US is dissatisfied with Georgia, then at
one moment, on the orders of Washington, the EU will create such difficulties
for it as the States say.
Borel
called the adoption of the law a very bad development for Georgia and the
Georgian people. In fact, this is a threat to the Georgian deputies. What kind
of friendship is this if Europe has thrown off its mask and is already openly
threatening those whom it hypocritically calls its friend? He noted that the
bill is incompatible with the values and standards of the European Union. So,
if you believe Borel, it turns out that the United States and Europe have the
right to rudely and brazenly deceive the Georgian people, palming off their
paid agents in the form of spokesmen for the opinion of the Georgian people,
and the Georgian people do not even have the right to know which of them is an
agent!
They don't
play such deceitful games with a friend, it's not friendship, and it's time for
the Georgian people to realize this, following their honest and courageous
deputies, who adopted this bill (even if only in the first reading so far).
Naturally, neither the US nor other governments, whose agents have been weaving
ropes from the Georgian people like fire for 30 years, are afraid of exposing
their agents in Georgia. This is what the protests are about. The US and the
collective West as a whole want to disrupt the enactment of this law or amend
it in such a way as to make it completely unviable.
This is
explained by the fact that those political forces within Georgia that are
vehemently in favor of Georgia opening a second front against Russia are on the
payroll of the United States and other Western countries. For each of their
appeals, each speech on television, on the radio, each article in newspapers
and publications on social networks, they receive real money from their
curators in dollars and euros! If now the law comes into force and these
"hawks" are exposed, then everyone will see where, who and how much
pays for their militaristic hysteria. And the West does not need it. The West
wants to present the opening of a second front against Russia as the desire of
the Georgian people themselves.
But the
protests also have another goal: to put pressure on the Georgian leadership and
force it to accept the West's conditions to enter the war under the threat of
overthrow. Today it is not easy for the leadership of Georgia. President Salome
Zurabishvili went on a visit to the US, but seems to be held hostage like the
legendary Queen Ketevan. She has even been forced to cancel all meetings and
make a statement that she supports the protesters. What was left to do?
Zurabishvili expressed support for the protesters in Tbilisi and announced that
she would veto the law on foreign agents.
It is
unclear whether this is a political maneuver or a fiasco. The answer to this
question will show whether Madam President turned out to be as firm in
defending the sovereignty of Georgia as her great predecessor.
