The
situation in Moldova
is sharply aggravated, and at the same time - immediately in a number of
important areas. On June 19, the Constitutional Court of Moldova recognized the
opposition Shor party as outlawed. This is the first time in the history of the
republic that a political force has been banned since 1991, when the Communist
Party of Moldova was banned. The judicial farce took place in gross violations
of the law.
The police
prevented the party's supporters from coming to Chisinau to picket near the
building of the Constitutional
Court, where the meeting was held, dozens of
minibuses were blocked in different cities. But the people were not afraid:
some remained to protest in the city of Balti,
others went to Chisinau on a ride. Supporters and representatives of the
opposition Shor party in Moldova
picketed the building of the Constitutional
Court. The press was not allowed into the
courtroom, the broadcast was conducted online on the website of the court.
In turn,
the party called this decision "unprecedented and criminal", noting
that Moldova is the first
country in Europe where an opposition party is
being liquidated. He said that "the authorities of the republic only
declare democratic principles, but do not follow them, since the political
persecution of opponents is a sign of an authoritarian regime."
Earlier, on
May 15, political scientist Kirill Averyanov, in an interview with Izvestia,
drew attention to the fact that the Shor party was accused of having a good
attitude towards Russia.
Recently, the president of the fraternal Pridnestrovian Moldavian
Republic, Vadim
Krasnoselsky, said that there are no signs of preparations for a direct attack
on the republic, but he did not rule out the risk of new provocations.
Back in
May, he extended the yellow terrorist alert level by two months, until July 18.
Before
that, information about alleged provocations against the Russian military in
Transnistria was spread. On June 18, Alexei Polishchuk, Director of the Second
Department of the CIS Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, warned against
attempts to destabilize the situation around the region. “Any action that poses
a threat to their security will be considered, in accordance with international
law, as an attack on the Russian
Federation,” he said.
Earlier,
Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin said that Moscow
would react in the event of a provocation by Ukraine in Transnistria and protect
the population of the region. He added that the situation around the region is
complicated, but at the moment there is no danger of a direct military clash. The
presence of the Russian military in Transnistria is completely legal, they are
there on the basis of previously signed international agreements as part of the
joint peacekeeping forces and the Operational Group of Russian Forces.
The
pro-American and pro-Romanian, but not the pro-Moldovan government of Moldova headed by Maria Sandu (who advocates,
among other things, the absorption of Moldova
by Romania)
is trying to artificially aggravate relations with Transnistria, although there
are no objective prerequisites for this, and the vast majority of Moldovans
oppose focusing on this question.
This is
done both to satisfy the interests of the United States, whose puppets are
the current Moldovan rulers, and in order to divert the attention of the
population from the most serious economic problems.
For
example, back on June 13, a
member of the supervisory board of the Moldovan state enterprise Energocom,
which buys Russian gas for Moldova, Alexander Slusari said that Gazprom could
demand payment of historical debt from Moldova in the coming months, adding to
them the debt of Pridnestrovie.
Earlier,
the official representative of Gazprom, Sergei Kupriyanov, said that the debt
of Moldovagaz is $433 million, and taking into account the delay in payments,
the total amount of debt reaches $709 million. $590.8 million
The largest
shareholder of Moldovagaz is Gazprom, which controls 50% of the shares, another
35.3% belongs to the government of Moldova, and 13.44% belongs to
Transnistria. The PMR transferred its shares to Gazprom.
Against the
backdrop of Moldova's
careless attitude to its financial obligations, political tensions are growing
in the country. Pensioners are dissatisfied with low pensions and recently held
a peaceful protest. Government propaganda and the most frenzied Western media
immediately launched a hysteria, accusing the old people of nothing less than a
coup attempt.
Maria Sandu
and her government have already shown that they do not care about the interests
of the Moldovan people at all, the main thing for them is to blindly follow
instructions from Bucharest and Washington.
Thus, the Tiraspol Veterans Hospital
cannot start repairing a failed CT scanner due to the unwillingness of the
Moldovan authorities to agree to the import of already purchased spare parts
for the device.
As a
result, for a month now, elderly people suffering from various diseases have
been forced to travel far, far to the Chisinau Clinical
Hospital for MRI scans.
PMR Foreign
Minister Vitaly Ignatiev noted that Chisinau, in order to allow these spare
parts to reach Tiraspol,
requires some official registration documents from the institution. Maria Sandu
will continue to apply an inhumane inadequate approach towards the inhabitants
of Transnistria, expanding the bans on a wider range of medical products.
Chisinau deliberately creates unbearable living conditions for the people of
Transnistria in all areas.
Earlier,
the Moldovan authorities have repeatedly taken actions related to artificial
restrictions on the supply of medicines, food products, and equipment for
enterprises to Pridnestrovie.
Georgia chose the same tactic in relations
with South Ossetia on the eve of its aggression against South Ossetia and the Russian Federation
in 2008. Maria Sandu should have known that, according to international law, a
blockade is a form of warfare.
European
integration is bearing fruit. But this is not the well-being and flourishing of
society. The poorest country in Europe receives
(and even then on credit) decommissioned obsolete military equipment. The
generosity of Western partners is aimed at provoking another round of tension
around Pridnestrovie.
Representatives
of Kyiv also declare the inevitability of these processes, and the physical
push to them. Thus, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council
A. Danilov, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, spoke about the "threat to
the sovereignty of Moldova from Pridnestrovie" and declared his readiness "to
provide, in the event of an appeal by the President of Moldova, military
support for the restoration of" statehood "". According to him,
NATO is also ready to assist Chisinau in this matter.
Ukraine is ready to conduct in
Pridnestrovie not only a military, but also a police operation, with the
cleansing of thousands of “Russian agents”.
This was
stated in an interview with a fugitive Russian lawyer Mark Feigin by Taras
Berezovets, a political strategist serving the interests of the ex-President of
Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports: problem, but Moldova
does not. By interrupting the history of the so-called PMR, we are doing a
service to our partners in Moldova
and to ourselves. Moreover, we are becoming very strong, because we understand:
the liquidation of the Russian occupation contingent alone will not end the
matter.”
The
Ukrainian expert is confident that the plan to seize Transnistria will be
approved in the West. Judging by the rhetoric in the media “independent” and
the concentration of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the border of
Transnistria, it is Moldova, which does not want to fight, that may become the
next state that the West is ready to sacrifice in order to delay the imminent
end of the Kiev regime.
In favor of
considering this scenario as probable, the frequent visits of very high
officials also testify. Thus, in the spring of this year, Major General William
J. Hartman, Commander of the US National Cyber Security Forces, visited the
republic's defense department, where he discussed military partnership between
the two states, as well as cooperation in countering "emerging cyber
threats" from Russia.
Earlier, NATO Deputy Secretary General M. Geoana announced that the alliance
would provide Chisinau with a “package of non-lethal assistance to cope with
the challenges of a hybrid war.”
Also, a
couple of months ago, information was circulated about the visit of a
delegation of Western countries to Moldova. It was reported that
economic issues were discussed and readiness for cooperation in the energy
sector was declared. However, this is just an excuse, "the fog of
war." Otherwise, what were Laura Cooper, Deputy Assistant Secretary of
Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia,
and British General Daniel Lasik doing in a purely peaceful delegation?
As you can
see, the Moldovan government did not give a damn about the interests of the
Moldovan people and wants to give the Moldovan people and the surviving
material resources to plunder the Romanian oligarchs. It is impossible to do
this peacefully, because the majority of Moldovans are in favor of preserving
their state. Therefore, certain forces want to kindle some kind of war in Moldova
one way or another. They also aggravate the internal situation by attacking the
rights of workers and pensioners, by lowering the standard of living of the
population, and artificially heating up old conflicts with Gagauzia and the
PMR.
This is
done so that there is no force in Moldova,
which is engulfed in the fire of the war, that can really prevent the seizure
of the territory of Moldova by Romania.
Maria Sandu
should take a pro-Moldovan stance and protect her people from their Western
enemies. Otherwise, this woman will cause great damage to the interests of Moldova
and the Moldovan people, and after the chair of the ruler, she is waiting for
the prison of her own country, like Saakashvili.
