The aftermath of the US, Moldova and Georgia elections and who is driving the protests in Belarus

A few days ago, voting took place in the presidential elections in the United States, and the first round of parliamentary elections in neighboring Georgia was also held. The incumbent president, billionaire Donald Trump and the main challenger, Senator Joseph Biden, each categorically declared their victory.

An unprecedented number of violations have been reported in the history of the US presidential election. Independent observers have already called these violations themselves shameful, the collapse of American democracy and a threat to American statehood.

The state of Michigan could not confirm the election results presented to it, - Interfax quotes Trump as saying. He also spoke about the massive stuffing in this state.

In Pennsylvania, it turned out that the local mafia helped the Democrats to forge ballots for Biden.

In front of the buildings of the election commissions of some states disgruntled people gather, many of them are armed (in the US, the law does not prohibit the open carrying of weapons by civilians). This shame has dragged on for quite some time, exposing the unsightly underside of American "democracy."

Presidential elections were also held in the Western-oriented post-Soviet country, Moldova, where the victory of pro-Western supporter Maria Sandu was announced. She has already been congratulated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The current president, Igor Dodon, who was considered pro-Russian, was defeated. The elections were held in the conditions of not only violations of the electoral legislation of the former Soviet Union republic, but, one might say, were held in conditions of complete confusion and complete legal nihilism. It got to the point that residents of the Pridnestrovskaia Moldavskaia Respublika, who are citizens of Moldova, were denied admission to polling stations on the territory of Moldova. At the same time, they were humiliated, insulted and called separatists.

Videos have circulated on the Internet suggesting that there have been cases of bribery of voters (suggestions are made to photograph your ballots with marked marks).

Igor Dodon preliminarily congratulated his opponent, urged his supporters not to go to protest actions, but at the same time said that he intends to go to court to challenge the election results.

The electoral system in yet another EU, US and NATO-oriented post-Soviet country - Georgia, which former US President George W. Bush called a "citadel of democracy", does not enjoy the confidence of some citizens either.

After the first round of parliamentary elections on October 31, the socio-political situation in Georgia worsened. 48 parties and two political blocs took part in the struggle for 150 seats. After processing all the ballots, the ruling Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party won 48.22% of the vote. In second place, with 27.18%, is the United Opposition Bloc "Strength in Unity", which also includes the United National Movement party of former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili. The ruling party also won 13 out of 30 single-mandate constituencies. seven political parties and two blocs fall in. The second round is scheduled for November 21.

The opposition has expressed dissatisfaction with the victory of the ruling party and claims that it received its votes through falsification. Opposition leaders and supporters have been holding protests for two weeks, including a rally in front of the parliament building in Tbilisi. They demand a repeat election.

The Georgian authorities refuse to hold repeated elections. The US State Department also did not support the re-election.

"Elections in Georgia have been consistently held incorrectly for 30 years, and the last vote did not differ much from the previous ones (the" citadel of democracy "is good, isn't it? - IP), except for what took place against the backdrop of a pandemic. But the opposition needs to be accepted their results stop boycotting parliament. " This is stated in the materials of the briefing, which the US State Department published on November 18 on its website. It is characteristic that South Ossetia has repeatedly stated that the elections in Georgia are in fact a profanation of this most important institution of democracy!

These three examples had to be cited not to protect certain candidates in these countries, but to illustrate the plight of "elective democracy" in the United States and its uncomplaining satellites - Moldova and Georgia, which long ago abandoned their national sovereignty, just to please the United States and the one headed by them the collective West.

And, of course, the most important outcome of the elections in these countries is the loss of confidence in the elections as the most important instrument of democracy.

As you can see, the source of protest in these countries is the population itself, the voters of these countries do not trust their government bodies, including election commissions, and accusations of falsification during the voting also do not accidentally fall on fertile soil.

The protest and distrust of the voting results in these countries by its nature and origin is in stark contrast to the protests in Belarus. Of course, it cannot be so that absolutely all citizens of Belarus are satisfied with President Lukashenko, his policies, his methods and forms of government. Moreover, this applies to pensioners and low-income citizens. Some of the protesters come to protest actions out of their inner conviction.

However, the difference is that the protests and riots that we are witnessing in Belarus are largely coordinated from abroad. This was also stated by the country's President Lukashenko. There may be an objection, they say, it is beneficial for Alexander Grigorievich to accuse foreign forces of protests, but let us turn to the facts.

And the facts speak of the vigorous activity that foreign Telegram channels have developed these days against Lukashenka. Take Nexta Live. It is hosted by the Belarusian emigrant Stepan Putilo, who lives in Warsaw. He spreads subversive advice to the protesters, which coincide with the training manuals of the Kiev Maidan: "Stay in large groups!" "Do the hitch with your hands", "Try to disable special equipment and transport vehicles as much as possible!"

Earlier, the facts were revealed that "people" from Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic and Russia were involved in the riots in the republic. Even the Internet in Belarus was turned off on Sunday, according to Batka, also "from abroad" - with the aim of "causing discontent among the population," RIA Novosti reports.

It should be recalled that Lukashenka has long enjoyed the dislike of the West. Firstly, the construction of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, and secondly, the unwillingness to give up their country for plunder to the West, the rejection of rampant privatization, from the destruction of its industry, from the economic and political subordination of Belarus to the West.

Publicist Alexander Rogers believes that it is primarily about who supports the situation infrastructurally and economically.

"We can say that the Polish trace is clearly felt here. All the telegram channels that broadcast to Belarus were opposition and Polish. Our beloved Mikhail Khodorkovsky was also noted, who, judging by his activity, also decided to rock Father's boat," he says ...

According to the Belarusian political scientist Aleksey Dzermant, “among the dissatisfied there are professional provocateurs who act in an organized manner ... It is clear that the“ professionals ”are clearly being helped from abroad, this can be seen from Telegram. The most popular Telegram channel NEXTA is located in Poland and constantly bombarded with messages calling for violence, is associated with the Polish government and is on state funding for this country. "

But that's not all.

“Participants of mass protests in Belarus are trained in Poland, Georgia (the State Department itself admitted constant violations of that), in Ukraine and in the Baltic countries. Instructors from the CIA and the Pentagon, as well as employees of American non-governmental organizations (NGOs) associated with The State Department, "said Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (https://tass.ru/politika/9580909).

Naryshkin pointed out that the US is trying to involve the Vatican in the Belarusian events. The clergy are allegedly urged to criticize Minsk and use sermons and prayers to conduct opposition propaganda.

This is the fundamental difference between elections and dissatisfaction with the voting results in the USA, Georgia, Moldova and Belarus. The processes taking place in the first three states are their own political “product”, an eloquent indicator of distrust in their vaunted “democratic” political systems. And protests in Belarus are organized and sent from foreign countries, dreaming of destroying the Belarusian statehood, seizing its economy and other national wealth.
