The ideological descendants of the defeated consider information work against the Victory to be very important, it did not stop for a minute. Just the other day, the words of the famous Soviet singer Laima Vaikule in the past were also circulated that the monuments to Soviet heroes do not represent artistic value. So she also spoke in favor of the demolition of Soviet monuments to the heroes of the great war, so that nothing in her country would remind of the feat of the Soviet people.
When
well-known figures of the Soviet era speak out in an anti-communist and
anti-Soviet spirit, the question arises why they did not make their statements
earlier, and why did they praise the USSR and the CPSU before? They may answer
that they did it insincerely, but out of a sense of fear or out of sycophantic
considerations, in order to receive some benefits. In this case, a feeling of
suspicion arises that the current statements of these people are dictated not
by their sincere opinion, but by the desire to please someone and gain some
benefit from the new, anti-Soviet authorities of the former socialist
republics.
A lot of
ideological directions, in which the enemy is trying to reduce the value of the
Great Victory in our eyes, have accumulated over almost 80 years. Over the past
period, all of them have been exposed in detail and reasonably by both Soviet
and conscientious Russian and foreign historians on the basis of archival data
and official documents.
The war
that is being waged against the Victory of our grandfathers and
great-grandfathers is no different from the war waged by the many-faced enemy
against the victory of South Ossetia and Russia in 2008. I deliberately do not
write “in the 2008 war”, because the war against South Ossetia and Russia
actually began many years before August 2008.
Just as
with regard to the war of 1941-1945, the whole range of means of information
influence is used to reduce the value of this Victory as well. It seems that
here too the examples are completely unnecessary, they are already in plain
sight, including the decision of the ICC on the war unleashed by Georgia
against South Ossetia and Russia in 2008. It sounds like a joke, but it's true:
the chief prosecutor of this very ICC, Fatou Bensouda, was at one time the
Attorney General of the African country of Gambia under President Yaya Jammah,
when a campaign against "sorcerers" was carried out in the country on
the orders of the President, as a result of which about 1,000 people were
killed. accused of "witchcraft".
These are
the bloody charlatans today against Russia and South Ossetia.
In the same
row, accusations against Russia of allegedly unprovoked aggression against
Georgia in 2008. As if there was no night shooting of Tskhinval by 28 Grad
launchers, dozens of tanks and howitzer artillery.
How can one
not recall here the demonstrative negligence and unprofessionalism shown by
those North Ossetian lawyers who initially took on the mission of protecting
the interests of South Ossetia, but as a result failed this case. Why was this
business not entrusted to other people? Why were such important decisions made
in secret and failed? It is very sad that there was no investigation into how
such unthinkable behavior was possible.
The work to
expose the anti-Ossetian and anti-Russian myths must be carried out on an
ongoing basis so that the truth is not buried under piles of lies.
Attempts to
falsify historical processes for the sake of the political situation only cause
cold distrust and mockery at the naivety of these people, who consider us
gullible, stupid creatures who can be deceived by such unconvincing statements.
But that
doesn't mean we can rest on our laurels. We must know and remember history -
both distant and not so distant in time, because a people that does not know
its history has no future.
