Some results of the Russian operation in Syria

Exactly five years ago, the Federation Council approved the request of the Russian President to start a military operation in Syria. Syria is our friend, it recognized South Ossetia, and diplomatic relations have been established between us. Therefore, we are not indifferent to the processes that are developing there; we are not indifferent to the future of the Syrian people.

If we compare the state of Syria at the time of the first active actions of Russia with the current state of affairs, it is striking that peace reigns in most of the country. Also, the past years have brought great clarity to the question of who actually supports the gangs of international terrorists, whose aggression the Western countries and Turkey cover their far-reaching plans with regard to Syria.

Ровно пять лет назад Совет Федерации одобрил запрос президента России на начало военной операции в Сирии. Сирия - наш друг, она признала Южную Осетию, и между нами установлены дипломатические отношения. Поэтому нам небезразличны процессы, которые там развиваются, небезразлично будущее сирийского народа.

Если сравнивать состояние Сирии на момент первых активных действий России с сегодняшним положением дел, то бросается в глаза, что мир царит на большей части территории страны. Также истекшие годы внесли большую ясность в вопрос, кто же на самом деле поддерживает банды международных террористов, агрессией которых прикрывают западные страны и Турция свои далеко идущие планы в отношении Сирии.

This short sentence contains several statements at once that are not true. What's the matter? Madam President is not aware of the true state of affairs? This cannot be: Salome Zurabishvili, as in the period of his election, and today, in terms of his intellectual level, is higher than all other representatives of the Georgian political establishment. An experienced representative of one of the oldest diplomatic schools - the French one - she cannot but understand that according to all laws - both the laws of historical development and international normative legal acts that form a fancifully woven fabric of international law - Georgia has no reason to claim the territory of South Ossetia ...

Providing the terrorists with all the necessary assistance, the United States is striking the Syrian army.

So, as a result of the impact of an American plane near the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli, one Syrian soldier was killed, two were injured.

За пять лет активной деятельности Сирии им накоплен уникальный дипломатический опыт, который позволил сберечь сотни тысяч жизней рядовых сирийцев.

Работает в Сирии и Медицинский отряд специального назначения, военные врачи которого оказывают помощь жителям сирийской провинции Латакия. Они проводят обследование населения, а нуждающимся раздают и необходимые медицинские препараты. А в поликлинике города Камышлы на севере Сирии начал работать еще в ноябре 2019 года.
