Great attention is being paid to increasing the level of interaction between Russian and Syrian units. So, as a result of the impact of an American plane near the Syrian city of Al-Qamishli, one Syrian soldier was killed, two were injured.
The blow was struck on August 17 at an army checkpoint in the area of the settlement of Tell al-Zakhab, southeast of Qamishli.
The enemies also organized a terrorist attack against the Russian military. A Russian major general was killed by an improvised explosive device in Syria. Explosives detonated on the side of the road when a convoy was returning from a humanitarian action near Deir ez-Zor.
Russian military police patrolled and inspected observation posts in the Golan Heights in the Quneitra province of Syria, completing the task of observing Israeli missile strikes along the Bravo line.
Nevertheless, the establishment of a peaceful life is evident. The territory of the world is expanding, the number of people returning to their native ashes is growing, new schools are opening. All this is happening thanks to Russia.
Russia is also ready for active cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Syria, including in the context of the new coronavirus pandemic. This is stated in the message of the Russian Foreign Ministry following the meeting of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin with the WHO Representative in Syria Akdzhemala Magtymova.
Russia pays a lot of attention to the rehabilitation of medical institutions affected by the Syrian crisis, to ensuring the population's access to quality healthcare services and the supply of medicines.
Currently, a number of projects of UN organizations, including WHO, are being implemented in Syria with Russian financial support, aimed at helping to rebuild the health care system, with a particular focus on maternal and child health.
Thus, despite the opposition of terrorists and other destructive forces, Russia is demonstrating its leading role in Global politics, in normalizing the situation in the Middle East.
