The Countries of Central Asia Are At Risk of Facing a New Type of Radicalism On Their Territory

When hostilities begin somewhere, the power of state power, including law enforcement agencies, inevitably weakens in the adjacent territories. Their funding is reduced, it becomes even more difficult to catch criminals, all kinds of criminal elements and structures are raising their heads.

In addition to them, due to the general decline in the standard of living of the population, the line between the permissibility and inadmissibility of committing crimes among those citizens who were considered law-abiding yesterday is blurred. These and other unfavorable factors lead to overloading the employment of law enforcement agencies, and even paralysis of their work or a fundamental rebirth.

Criminal structures, on the contrary, get more opportunities, including logistical ones. They organize the smuggling of prohibited goods, primarily weapons, ammunition and drugs. American-occupied Kosovo and Afghanistan are the clearest examples of what has been said in recent history.

The leaders of Kosovo, headed by former Prime Minister Hashim Thaci, have covered themselves and the entire collective West that patronizes them with indelible disgrace for trafficking in the human organs of young Serbs, who naturally died as a result of the harvesting of their organs. Former Attorney General of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia Carla Del Ponte reported hundreds of such cases, but observers estimate there could have been thousands. In these states, large-scale propaganda campaigns were carried out, designed to assure a serious fight against the transit of psychotropic and narcotic substances. But such a "struggle" only led to the opposite result: the volume of drug trafficking grew from year to year. I think it is clear what kind of "struggle" it was.

Since the collapse of the USSR, international drug cartels have taken a liking to what seemed to them the ownerless territory of our great country and began to actively develop it. The states of the CIS and, first of all, Ukraine, since the time of Kravchuk, have attracted smugglers with their porous borders with Russia (which they saw as an untapped market) and corrupt officials. From year to year, the volume of deliveries of large consignments of narcotic substances from Afghanistan and South America grew exponentially and entered European and Asian countries.

Recently, these immoral people began to use the plight of Ukrainian refugees, who are attracted as one of the drug trafficking channels to different countries. Having received social assistance in the countries of Europe and the CIS, a residence permit, and sometimes citizenship under a simplified scheme, desperate people in search of a “better life” agree to any job. Often, they are attracted to illegal activities for the distribution of narcotic substances as "forwarders", "couriers" and "mortgagers" by previously settled compatriots who are already actively involved in the process of transit of prohibited substances.

Such a network for the distribution of drugs has gained the greatest coverage in the states of Central Asia. Due to the hostilities in connection with the NWO, it has become more risky to keep all production on the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, there is a tendency to transfer part of the laboratories to the territory of other CIS countries, especially Central Asia. Of course, within the framework of one small article it is impossible to cover all the countries of the region, but we will consider this issue in detail using the example of Kazakhstan.

The Kazakhstani online news outlet TengriNews writes in the article “Citizens of Ukraine organized a drug laboratory near Almaty”: “On December 22, rangers of the Karachingil hunting farm reported that two suspicious citizens of Ukraine had been checked on the outskirts of the village of Baltabai, Enbekshikazakh district. Police officers who arrived at the scene in the course of investigative actions near the place of checking the vehicles of 43-year-old and 28-year-old foreigners found a black bag, inside of which there were transparent plastic bags with a white and powdery substance. "Further, the employees of the Department of Drug

Administration of the Almaty region during operational activities identified two addresses of possible drug laboratories. During an authorized search on the ground, 6 more citizens of the Republic of Ukraine were detained. At the same time, laboratory equipment, glass bowls and metal sheets with crystalline substances, chemical substances," the press service of the Almaty Region Police Department said. During the search, about 30 kilograms of the narcotic substance "mephedrone" were seized. The detainees during the confessions reported about the preparations for the opening of a third laboratory for the production of such prohibited substances.”

The publication publishes images of rather serious production equipment found in drug production detainees (see picture).

In total, according to the Kazakh media, six citizens of Ukraine were detained on the territory of the Central Asian republic, from whom laboratory equipment and chemicals for the creation of synthetic drugs were also confiscated. The proceeds received from the sale of drugs, as Kazakh law enforcement officers found out, the detainees were sent to Ukraine to support the militants of the nationalist battalions "Azov" and "Kraken". Part of the funds went to the accounts of Kazakhstani ultra-right radicals who oppose the current government.

The Central Asian countries are taking a wait-and-see approach to the conflict in Ukraine. They are trying not to publicize such "unpleasant" facts. Meanwhile, along with the refugees, emissaries of nationalist forces also arrived, who found a common language with local radicals, longtime opponents of the authorities. The Ukrainian radicals, warmed by the authorities, generously share with them their extensive experience of Maidans and hostilities. It is already possible to make a prediction that if not today, then tomorrow a new type of radicalism will declare itself in Central Asia, fueled by generous Western material assistance, following the example of the Kyiv Maidan in 2014.

The question may arise: what is the interest of South Ossetia in this matter? Why are we raising this issue? The answer lies on the surface. For a number of very important reasons, South Ossetia is interested in a speedy end to the conflict. And the flirting of the Central Asian states with the emissaries of the Ukrainian nationalist forces, creating conditions for the production and international trafficking of drugs, with the profit from which they support both their own and local radicals, not only significantly delays the end of the war, but also strengthens the underground opposing the rulers of Central Asia.

Therefore, the authorities of the former Soviet republics, lovers of sitting on two chairs, must avoid the risk of facing very big problems in the very near future.
