The United States made a decision in principle to overthrow the government of Georgia

In Georgia, America's people, who receive money from the United States and its friends and allies, thwarted the passage of an important law for any country on foreign agents. Due to the fact that social networks often misunderstand this law, I would like to talk about it more simply and intelligibly.

The protesters in their public speeches, both at actions and in the media, falsely called it “Russian law”. However, on one of the pro-government resources, local lawyers compared the American version and the Russian version of the relevant laws. It turned out that the Georgian project was much more similar to the American version. But compared to him, he was softer. However, the Russian law differs from the American one in greater softness. And the draft prepared by the Georgian government was the softest of all. Very liberal too. He almost did not restrict the activities of foreign agents. Let them do what they want, but just don't hide the fact that they are agents!

It's just nonsense. Never in history has a government allowed foreign agents to openly do whatever they want. Foreign agents were always tracked down, arrested, tortured and even shot. And here, no one tortures them, does not shoot them, one might say, they create heavenly conditions for them. The only thing - just be a man, reveal the sources of your funding. But the United States - the main sponsor of the agent network is no longer, but of the whole social stratum, penetrating all spheres of society - opposed even this and ordered its agents to categorically rebel against it. Signals have already appeared on Georgian Facebook pages that many protesters received money for their activity in those days. Their amounts depend on the risk, depending on what they did. Attacks on police officers were, of course, better paid. It turned out that thousands and thousands of foreign agents have accumulated in Georgia over thirty years!

Although the government softened the situation by withdrawing its bill and preparing actions of its supporters, the US is no longer willing to tolerate the Georgian government and has taken a principled decision to overthrow it.

Yes, South Ossetia and Georgia have insurmountable contradictions. This applies primarily, but not only, to the situation on the border and around it. We have a long political conflict, and, of course, they must create difficulties for us. However, it should be taken into account that the governments formed with the predominant support of the Georgian Dream are, no matter how pathetic it sounds, the only pro-Georgian governments in at least the last more than 30 years.

For the current government, the interests of Georgia are a priority, and not the American military-industrial oligarchy and its political servants represented by neo-conservatives - both Republicans and Democrats, who were born in mothballs and live in mothballs reeking of mothballs with crazy ideas.

A number of unfriendly decisions testify to the practical steps taken by the United States to change power in Georgia. These are the sanctions against four well-known judges, who were accused of corruption without any evidence, and the incessant statements of Western sources against the Georgian authorities.

One of the well-known politicians of the first echelon who dared to speak out in defense of his country is Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament: “It is unacceptable when there is a personal attack on the citizens of Georgia, and even more so on Georgian judges. When they are stigmatized as corrupt judges in such a way that they do not name a single fact and evidence, this is absolutely unacceptable.”

It's hard to disagree with this. But since 1988, prominent South Ossetian thinkers (unfortunately, now deceased), openly warned about this! The further words of the speaker are literally a cry from the heart: “The Georgian people conscientiously demonstrated their partnership to the American people, including in hot spots. We lost more than 30 Georgian soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, more than 20 thousand of our soldiers participated in missions in various hot spots, we had more than 300 wounded. I think that when Georgian and American soldiers fought side by side in the same trench, this partnership deserves that we do not put us in the position of a quiz and we do not solve puzzles.

The other day in Georgia (after protests against the law on foreign agents and actions in support of government supporters) another rally and mass demonstration against the government took place, which was again prepared and paid for by US agents. Already by these rallies, in fact, the Georgian government can determine for itself who exactly is the agent. Georgians for 30 years are tired of rallies and instability. They need a job and a source of money for their children. There are no sensitive moments in the steps of the current government of Georgia that would irritate the ordinary population to the point of pushing them to rallies. Therefore, all conscientious observers point out that these are the agents.

And we repeat that there are already many thousands of them and they have already become a very serious and dangerous force. If the government manages to enlist the support of the broad sections of the population and manages to neutralize the destabilizing impulses emanating from Washington, then it will be able to retain power and save its people from being drawn into a bloody war against Russia. But this requires information resources, and the formation of information resources took place with the financing of the West, and will they want to support the government? Very doubtful.

I would like to illustrate what has been said with important statements by influential people who are moving in the close wake of the United States and in one way or another have an impact on the processes taking place in Georgia and their perception.

In the first place in the plan of action against the Georgian government is undermining its positive image in the eyes of the Georgian population and imposing on it the label of "the cruel executioner of the defenseless innocent Mikheil Saakashvili."

On April 14, Peter Fischer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Georgia, rushed into the attack. In his interview with the Georgian news agency Interpressnews, he stated: "The Georgian government must always remember its responsibility to provide adequate medical assistance to a person in custody."

A very big question arises why the German diplomat did not pay such tender and sensitive attention to the abducted civilians of South Ossetia, from whom they beat out the “confessions” necessary for Georgia by torture in order to accuse South Ossetia of various crimes? Well, of course, there was no order from the United States, a country that has been occupying his homeland since the Second World War for almost 90 years.

Let's listen further to this gentle and sensitive to human rights German ambassador: “We tell the Georgian authorities that there are reports of a deterioration in his health, and they are alarming. He is a person like any other person, and he is incarcerated, but he is also a former president.”

It is very interesting what care the German government had for the health of the last leader of the GDR, Egon Krenz, who was barely released from prison even after serving his sentence. I'm not talking about the prohibitions on professions for members of the Communist Party. Communists in Germany do not even have the right to work as school teachers.

“We ask the government of Georgia,” Fischer hypocritically says, “to always remember its responsibility to provide adequate medical care to a person who is incarcerated. This is a human right. Every person in prison has this right. To ensure this is the responsibility of the government. In addition, we say, let them turn to us if we can help in some way. We want to help. This is how we fix our position regarding Mikheil Saakashvili.”

Another puppet of the United States, the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, did not stand aside. He called from places of deprivation of liberty the day before to release Saakashvili for the purpose of treatment.

Some Ossetian fans of Navalny claim that in 2008 he supported South Ossetia. What Navalny himself writes about this: “To my even greater shame, somehow, under the influence of the fact that my friend was under shelling in Tskhinval, I wrote a post in 2008 with an insulting epithet addressed to Georgians. For this I apologized and I apologize again, but I know that in this regard, my opinion in Georgia does not have much weight.”

Then he goes on to Saakashvili: “… I still decided to write as a man and a Christian, because it's hard to look at. Saakashvili is suffering, his family is suffering, and the whole of Georgia is bad for what is happening, and there is nothing good from this even for those who would like to keep Saakashvili in prison until death ... this imprisonment and torment of the former president is terrible and heartless ... Saakashvili is very ill ... Release him on treatment ... would be the most correct.

On the same day, April 13, a member of the European Parliament, a Polish politician and statesman, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland in 2006-2007 Anna Fotyga said in Poland at an event dedicated to the 13th anniversary of the tragedy in Smolensk, where ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili was awarded the Prometheus Prize to them. Lech Kaczynski: “Sit in prison on unproven charges, what kind of democracy, what type? What happens to Mikheil Saakashvili will determine the future of Georgia for a long time.”

Ukraine is also actively participating in these actions, starting with Ukrainian President Zelensky. Here is what he said on April 15: “Saakashvili's life depends on Georgia's ethical decision. If a person needs medical help, if life depends on it, then this step is needed.” What prevents us from treating these “humane” speeches with confidence? Perhaps the course of escalation of bloodshed, taken by him from the very first minutes of his presidency ...

As you can see, despite the recent rally, the main events to build up Georgia are taking place outside of Georgia. The West, on the orders of Washington, wants to first create a bad image for Georgia. For this purpose, the topic of Saakashvili, his “disaster”, “incredible suffering” of this “poor, innocent, sick person” and the “cruelty, vindictiveness and bloodthirstiness” of the ruling regime are actively swaying.

It is difficult to say how this confrontation will end. If the West wins, then Saakashvili or the like will be made president again... and the war will immediately begin. The Georgian government will not be able to withstand the onslaught of the United States without outside help. But is there such a scenario that Georgia, which has mastered the art of political bluffing and bargaining to perfection, will require two small favors in order to accept such support?

Well, at least one.

The situation, as cruel as it sounds, is reminiscent of another episode of a soap opera that ended before the denouement of the climax began. We will continue to monitor the development of the situation.
